Terms and Conditions of Hire

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable. Please ensure that the following Safety Instructions are followed:

1- Once this inflatable has been erected by our trained staff you must not in any circumstance move the inflatable as you will damage it. Moving the inflatable will incur a charge for damage and or loss of income while the unit is repaired.

2- All 12ft x 15ft and combo units have an upper age limit of 11 years. Please ensure no-one over this age uses the equipment.

3- The Hirer is responsible for the safe keeping of the inflatable and you will be charged for theft or any damage caused to it or for any items missing from it on its collection. Equipment/sumo suits being kept overnight must be locked away to avoid theft. Again a charge for any missing items will be made.

4- Sumo suits should only be worn by adults/teenagers big enough to wear them, junior sumo suits are suitable for 8-12 year olds only. Helmets & neck braces must be worn. Sumo should only occur on the mats provided.

5- No food, drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the inflatable this will avoid choking and mess (Please note if the inflatable is collected in a dirty condition then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge).

6- All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the inflatable.

7- No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the inflatable.

8- No smoking or barbeques near the inflatables.

9- Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.

10- A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times.

11- Always ensure that the inflatable is not overcrowded and limit numbers according to the age and size of children using it. Try to avoid large and small children from using it at the same time.

12- Make sure children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.

13- Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on or off.

14- Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the inflatable as indeed any child who is feeling unwell.

15- Do not allow anyone to be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS.

16- No pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the inflatable.

17- Please ensure that children are not attempting somersaults and are clothed appropriately and that nothing is in their pockets.

18- Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 metres) around the unit is completely clear.

19- The inflatable should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain the unit should not be used.

20- In the event of heavy rain the inflatable must not be used. Any wetness including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.

Bounce Around cannot control the weather, if the inflatable cannot be used during any time of the hire period refunds are not given.

21- In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. The blower has a safety reset button, try pressing this, also check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later and it should restart. If it does not, inform us straight away.

22- Only our delivery driver is authorised to collect the inflatable. Under no circumstances should any of the equipment be handed over to anyone other than our delivery driver who will hold a copy of the hire contract.

23- You (the hirer) must ensure inflatables are staked/sandbagged down at all times. Do not use in high winds.

24- When using the rodeo bull all users must obey the operator and follow their instructions.

25- All users of the rodeo bull must not be under the influence of alcohol/drugs before using the equipment.

26- All users of the rodeo bull do so at their own risk.

27- The rodeo bull is a high motion unit. It can create movements that the human body is not normally subjected to. You may present yourself a risk to the possibility of sprains, bruising, broken limbs or physical incapacity. All users of this equipment do so at their own risk and subject to being operated in compliance with HSE and manufacturers guidelines, the rider will have no redress against Bounce Around Sheffield Ltd, the operator, the venue or the hirer.

28- The £20 ball deposit is only returned if ALL the balls are in the ball pool when the driver arrives to collect.

29- If on arrival your garden or access is unsuitable you will still owe the hire amount. It is your responsibility to check your area is big enough and to prepare and clean the area ready for hire.


Please note that all persons using equipment on hire from Bounce Around Sheffield Ltd do so at their own risk.

The person/s or organisation hiring inflatable equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.

These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times.

Our Company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.

I have read the above agreement and fully understand and accept the conditions as above. I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the inflatable and will pay for any loss or damage that may occur, this will include the inflatable being returned in an unacceptable condition, i.e. if it is in a dirty or muddy condition I will be expected to pay an additional cleaning charge.
